Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Bosch Dryer.
Clean the Lint Filter
The lint filter should be cleaned after each use. If the 'Lint Filter' light becomes illuminated and the buzzer sounds during operation, immediately stop the dryer by pressing the 'On/Off' button, depress the 'Door' button to open the door, remove the filter, clean it, replace the filter, close the door, and press the 'Start' button to restart the dryer.
Maintain the Exhaust System
For the Bosch WTA 3510 model, ensure the exhaust duct system is connected properly and is not too long or blocked. This will prevent moisture buildup and lint accumulation indoors, maintaining maximum drying efficiency.
Ventilation Requirements
Ensure your dryer is installed in a room with adequate ventilation. Both the WTA 3510 and WTL 5410 models require a constant supply of fresh air for optimal performance.
Clean the Moisture Sensors
If the drying level is not reached or the drying time is too long, clean the moisture sensors in the drum as described in the CARE and CLEANING section.
Heat Exchanger Maintenance
For WTL models, clean the heat exchanger 3–4 times a year, or more often if the dryer is used frequently. This will ensure efficient operation and prevent interruptions.
