On/Off Indicator light does not come on

The On/Off has not been depressed. A fuse may have blown or a circuit breaker tripped.

Ensure the On/Off button is pressed. Replace fuse or reset circuit breaker.

Drum light does not work

On/Off button has not been pressed. Bulb has failed.

Press the On/Off button. Replace the bulb with an authorized service agent.

Cycle is interrupted, buzzer sounds, cycle indicators flashing

Indicates faulty operation.

Clean the Lint Filter, check the exhaust duct length, switch off the dryer, wait, and restart.

Drying level not reached or drying time too long

Moisture sensors in the drum are dirty.

Clean the Moisture sensors as described in the manual.

The Bosch WTL 5410 Dryer has some known problems that occur often. Here are some easy to do solutions for the problems or error codes your Bosch might be giving you.

On/Off Indicator light does not come on

The On/Off button has not been depressed, a fuse may have blown or a circuit breaker tripped, or the bulb has failed. Ensure the On/Off button is pressed. Check the fuse and circuit breaker. If the bulb has failed, it must be replaced by an authorized service agent for safety reasons.

Cycle is interrupted and E1 appears in display

The condensate hose is blocked, the heat exchanger needs cleaning, or the air inlet is blocked. Turn off the dryer and check the condensate hose. Clean the heat exchanger as described in the CARE and CLEANING section. Ensure the air inlet is not blocked.

Cycle is interrupted, buzzer sounds, one or several cycle indicators are flashing

Indicates faulty operation. Clean the Lint Filter, check the exhaust duct length (for WTA models), switch the dryer off, wait for it to cool down, and then restart.

Clean the Lint Filter

The lint filter should be cleaned after each use. If the 'Lint Filter' light becomes illuminated and the buzzer sounds during operation, immediately stop the dryer by pressing the 'On/Off' button, depress the 'Door' button to open the door, remove the filter, clean it, replace the filter, close the door, and press the 'Start' button to restart the dryer.

Maintain the Exhaust System

For the Bosch WTA 3510 model, ensure the exhaust duct system is connected properly and is not too long or blocked. This will prevent moisture buildup and lint accumulation indoors, maintaining maximum drying efficiency.

Ventilation Requirements
